Virendra- Be Quiet.

Virendra is an angry, short tempered, blunt and out of control boy. All these describe his nature well. A boy who always loses his temper. Like hot milk boiling over; milk spilling out of the pot! He is also like that. He himself does not know when and on what issue he will burst out in anger. Along with his stubborn nature, he has another quality, Mahasay... always speaking out loud and frankly. When Virendra has so many qualities, then he should have many companions. He has, but there is only one, who is 'Ji Ji', who is a pot of marigold flowers. Who is Virendra's companion in his room. He does not have a life partner in his life? There is a reason too.

Image- Chat Image showing the office of GPT Principal Vyas. |
The sound of footsteps, which is covered by the noisy conversations. In these conversations, there is also some smile, which is less. There is a door, in the middle of both the doors of which there is glass. This glass is not transparent. Still, on looking inside through this glass, the possibility of the presence of two persons or humans can be made.
There is a plaque of the Principal's Office above this room, which is quite old but has still not been replaced.
Checking his past records, Principal Vyas said
- “Look, Virendra, we will give you admission in our school, but there is a condition. If you agree to that condition, only then can I think about you. Otherwise it is up to you!”
By that time Virendra had looked at all the things present in Principal Vyas's office. He wanted to see some more things when Vyas asked him a question. He was not prepared for this. He asked directly- "And that, what is the condition sir?"
Vyas kept his records aside- "Look, I have checked your records, you were expelled from mid-school last year in class 11, what was the reason behind it. I want to know the whole thing. The truth, it is not written in the records!"
Virendra twists the topic - "Sir, whatever the matter is, everything is written here, you can see it if you want."
"What I said, Virendra, is the truth! That is why your parents have not come with you. Now tell me the whole story."
Virendra understood that now he cannot say much except the truth. So he also put a condition in front of Principal Vyas- "Look Sir, if I tell you the truth, will you give me admission?"
Vyas stared at him- "Now you are placing a bet in front of me? You have so much guts?"
He doesn't say anything on this and starts putting forth his point.
Sir, this happened last October. I had gone to my school like every day. I had a friend there, whose name was Aarti. A boy was harassing her for a long time. When she told me this, I went to his class and beat him up. At first we both started arguing, but after a while the conversation turned into a scuffle. He was my senior. So, in the heat of the moment, I hit him on the head with a stone. His head started bleeding and I was expelled from school for this.
Vyas- “And then, for how many days were you admitted in the hospital?”
With a triumphant enthusiasm - "No, I was not there, not at all, not at all, but he was there. For five days. He had to get three stitches."
Vyas gets up from his chair and walks thoughtfully in his office and asks, “If I give you admission in my school, what is the probability that you will not commit such a crime here?”
“First of all sir, that was not an incident. There was a fight and because of that everything happened. And I take full responsibility that this will never happen again. If it happens then you will expel me from the school!”
Vyas- “I will definitely take it out, but after that you will never be able to enter anywhere.”
If this condition is accepted, then I am ready to admit you in this school. Otherwise you can leave from here. I will not stop you.
After thinking for a while, I said to Virendra- Okay, I accept your terms. On hearing this Vyas said- This is not enough, you will write all this on a page and give it to me tomorrow. And yes, get your neighbours to sign it too.
Saying this Virendra leaves from there. He comes to the parking with all his documents, confused about how he will get signatures of his neighbours. He had broken the window glass of one of his neighbours while having fun with his friends. And he had sold the old bicycle of the neighbour opposite to him to a junk dealer. It is a different matter that later his father gave him the money from the sale by beating him. Say, the time of goodness is no more.
It was such an old bicycle, he should have at least paid commission for selling it. It was sold for a full 1000 rupees. I had to tell so many lies to the junk dealer. I had also told him that Raja Pirimal himself used to ride this bicycle. But who was he? He too did not know the answer to this. He had read it somewhere, so he said it.
With these thoughts in mind, he takes out his bike and heads towards home.
No one in the house talks to him directly, except his grandmother who is now spending the last days of her life. He first goes and meets her. Grandmother asks- Viru, how are you in school and instead of words, air starts coming out of her mouth. The poor lady is not able to speak properly. But Virendra understands what she says. Yes, it is done writer madam. Tomorrow sir has called me to the school. Grandmother was a writer. She was a good story writer. That's what she thought. Not the readers. But with courage she published four books but none of them were successful. No, grandfather could not live for a long time, he also passed away in the middle of his youth.
Grandma- ok listen. Virendra comes and sits next to them.
Look, don't spoil your life for anyone else there. You are good at studies. Do that, why do you get involved in all these things. No. You are my true son, Virendra.
Virendra- "Okay, then do me a favour. Get both the neighbours to sign this paper for me."
Grandma looks at him helplessly. Without saying anything!
Virendra understands everything by then, he also does not say anything to Dadi. He puts that paper back in his bag. After this he goes to his room so that he can play games on his phone. But when he sees that his phone is only a few percent charged, he plugs it in the electric board to charge it. But his electric board was damaged. He tries many times, but he was unable to repair it. Frustrated, he calls an electrician, he comes to the given address after some time. He fixes the damaged things. After this he leaves from there.
After some time Virendra charges his phone. But, after some time his electric board gets damaged again. Now he tries to repair it himself. He fails! Due to continuous power supply to the board, one of its buttons also gets dislodged. He had called an electrician some time ago. He is still missing. Frustrated, he calls the same electrician. First he asks him the reason for not coming. Then when he says, "Sir, I am stuck in traffic. I will come soon and do your work first, only after that I will go somewhere else." But Virendra is not at peace. He calls him again and asks him the same things again. This time also he repeats the same things and hangs up.
Once again the electrician's phone rings, when he picks up the phone, this time too it was Virendra's call. Now he starts losing his temper. This time he starts making him listen a little louder. The electrician is so angry at him that if he was in front of him, God knows what he would have done. He was fuming in anger. After this, when he was about to hang up, Virendra starts laughing loudly at him. He is unable to bear this laughter from the front. After this he reaches Virendra's house directly.
***
He directly reaches outside Virendra's house and starts calling him by his name, he immediately comes out. Jugnu, who was an electrician, asked him- "Why were you calling me continuously, and when I asked you, you started laughing."
On this Virendra in a sharp and loud voice said- “You are a fool, what should I say to you.”
On this, he wants to say a lot to her, but as soon as he says something, Virendra throws a piece of stone from his house in front of him. He tells him- “If you want to return home properly, then do my work quietly or else you can think!”
Jugnu puts aside his anger a little and before he can do anything, his grandmother arrives there at that time. She starts telling Virendra- “If your parents had paid a little attention to you in your childhood, you would never have been like this. Now go home.” And pointing towards Jugnu, “What do you want?”
"No, I don't have any work. I have just come to fix the electric board. I will go back after fixing it. I have come here earlier too."
"Well you came here earlier too, now go after fixing it properly. It should not get worse now."
“Okay, Maaji.” Firefly thought to himself, “This boy is absolutely crazy. I will never come to this place again.”
Virendra did not want to get the papers signed by both the neighbours. But he will have to do this as per the condition of Principal Vyas. He finds a way that if he directly asks them for signatures, they will surely refuse. Just then a vehicle carrying information regarding Ganesh Chaturthi passes by his house. Just then an idea comes to his mind.
He starts waiting for the evening. As soon as it is evening, he goes to the market and wears some sadhu-like clothes. So that everyone considers him as such. He waits till around eight in the night. When the time comes, with his changed nature, he first goes to Mahasya's house where an elderly woman was present. Perhaps she was the head of the house. When he goes to that woman and tells her that "I am Virendra - I live in the house next to yours, please call any elder brother from the house."
The woman also does the same. A young boy comes out of the house. He also wanted to know the whole story from him. Virendra said to him- “Bhaiya, Ganesh Chaturthi is coming in a few days. Please give me some donation. If you cannot give donation then please sign on my school admission. So that I can get admission.” He asks him, “You must be Virendra, the one who sold my bicycle.” Virendra thinks in his mind, “Looks like this idea was not proper.” He handles the matter- “Bhaiya, I was young then. Now I have grown up. Now I do not do any such things. If you want, you can ask my grandmother.” “Yes, I know that. Come, at least with this excuse you will improve a little. While signing he said- 'Now study well, do not try to dominate. And yes, do not break anyone's head.'” Saying this he goes away from there. After coming home, he goes straight to the other neighbor's house. Some children are playing outside in that house. Virendra calls one of the children and says, "Call someone from the house." The child goes inside the house and brings a girl older than him. Virendra knows her very well. She is currently studying in college. She comes straight and asks, "Look, if you want donations, you come tomorrow. There is no one at home today." To this he replies, "No, I have not come to collect donations. You are misunderstanding me. I have come here to get a signature done."
"First of all who are you talking to? I am older than you, so talk politely?"
Look, I am not going to do that, you just sign and I will leave.
"Now, I will absolutely not sign. And yes, I will tell this to my father."
She goes inside the house and brings her father along with her. She explains everything to him. Her father says to her lovingly, "Hey! Daughter, you don't know him, he is Virendra. He is our neighbor. We don't meet each other very often, that's why you don't know him. What else, daughter! You need my signature, give it to me, I will do it." After this he signs. In this way Virendra gets the signature done and leaves from there.
After he leaves, the girl asks her father, “Why did you need to sign his papers?”
“Look, son, this boy is completely angry and stubborn. He broke a boy's head last year. He had to get three stitches.

You should bring an elderly person from your house with you tomorrow. Otherwise I will report you to the police station myself- these are the words of Principal Vyas. No, Virendra has to convince his grandmother even though he wants to. For his school, but he does not tell everything. Despite his not telling, his grandmother understands that something must have happened in his school. Grandmother also agrees to this. Both of them go to school in the morning. Vyas tells her the entire incident that happened yesterday. He tells her the whole thing in one breath. After listening to his entire story, grandmother gets up from her chair. She goes to Virendra and slaps him twice. Tears come to Virendra's eyes, but he does not cry. He keeps standing in the office.

Virendra goes to his school after getting signatures from both the neighbours. He goes to the principal's office and gives that paper to Vyas. He was still unable to understand this student because he was not a sharp minded boy in studies. He was a simple boy, whom we call average. He takes that signed paper from him, but was still not able to make any clear decision about him. He admits him in his school. Now Virendra starts his studies again, class 11. One day he is eating food in the school ground during lunch time. Just at that time a football comes and hits his head from the front. He takes the football, and goes to one of the children playing there and asks- "Why did you hit him with me?" At first they all deny it, and start looking at each other. He also looks at everyone, but one of them says- "Brother, it must have hit by mistake, bring this football." Hearing this, he gets angry and starts fighting with that boy. Neither of them was able to give in. The children soon inform the teachers about this. They come and bring both of them to the principal's office. He listens to the whole thing. He listens to both of them, but he lets the other student go. He tells Virendra that tomorrow you will bring any elderly person from your home to school .

Grandmother tells him- “You can never improve.” Vyas says to him- “Look, I have decided that I don’t want to keep him in this school. I want to take him out of this school. That is why I have called you here.” Grandmother, who was angry with her grandson till now, suddenly loses her anger. She directly becomes her grandson’s advocate. Whose duty is to advocate for their grandson. “Look, don’t do this, I will make him understand, he will never do this again.” Vyas- “Look, I have made up my mind.” Grandmother- “Sir, think about this once too.” Vyas- “No, I had told him this too at the time of admission. But I don’t see any improvement in him. On the contrary, he beat up that boy!” Grandmother- “Sir, only you can improve him.” “Okay, you tell me this. He is so stubborn, so short-tempered. Why don’t you improve him? What is his problem after all? He is only in 11th class, how dare he…!” “You tell me, was he like this since childhood? Is this something else?” Grandma- “She gestures Virendra to go out. He goes out of the office without the permission of the principal. Vyas does not say anything to him on this. See sir, the thing is that Virendra's parents used to stay out for work. So they could not pay attention to him. Virendra was a calm boy in childhood. He did not do any such thing. When he was in class 3, the children used to trouble him in school. He did not speak much. Those children used to take advantage of this. Virendra used to get very upset, he told all these things to his teachers, but after a few days the children started troubling him again. One day it went too far when the children spoiled his entire shirt with ink. Everything went on like this for the next two years. One day he hit one of those children in anger, by mistake a small stone fell in his hand. He hit him on the head. It was a good time that the child was not hurt much. Since then, he has developed such a craze to dominate that he wants to dominate the person in front of him. That is why he is ready to hit him with a stone. Whenever he fights with someone, old memories come to his mind. Now you tell me! What should I do with him?” After listening to everything, Vyas says while taking a breath, “Look, I agree with you. But I cannot teach him in my school. I had already warned him.” “Sir, don’t be so strict. If you also treat him like this, he will become even worse. Don’t do this.” “After all, no matter how strict a teacher is, he cannot see his student getting ruined.” “Okay, but promise me, you will also pay as much attention to him as our school will. Together we will help Virendra to come back on the right path.”
